👉🏼 You need to be in a calorie deficit. Start with 200-500 calories from your total daily energy expenditure (TDEE) and adjust as needed.
👉🏼 Carbs are not your enemy. You can enjoy them and still lose fat.
👉🏼 Most supplements are a waste of money, especially since many aren’t even tested on women. Invest in a good coach instead.
👉🏼 Fasting only works if you’re eating fewer calories overall—it’s not magic.
👉🏼 Losing 0.5-1 lb per week is excellent progress and much more sustainable long-term.
👉🏼 Lifting weights is more effective for fat loss than cardio. But don’t skip cardio—it’s great for overall health.

👉🏼 Weight loss isn’t linear. Some weeks you won’t lose weight, but you may still be building muscle and losing fat. If your goal is a body recomp (as it is for many of my clients), it’s important to focus on those non-scale victories as well!
The key to long-term success is to keep things simple. You don’t need crazy diets, expensive supplements, or overwhelming workout plans.
Focus on mastering the basics, be consistent, and give yourself time. Instead of trying to change your entire lifestyle all at once, step back and simplify.
Do less, but do it more consistently and for longer. The results will come, and this time, they’ll last.
